Our Commitment to Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect:
The types of personal information collected and provided to affiliates:
Name
Store Address
Store Phone number

Doctor License number and State

Doctor OE Tracker number

E-mail information

The Way We Use Information:
We use the license number and OE tracker number to assist in COPE CE certification for optometrists attending CE at our national meetings.

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

We may release personal information where release is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a government agency.

We may release store address and store phone numbers of our members to our sponsors.

Sponsors and individuals who use the app will have access to member information that is on the app.

Our Commitment to Data Security:
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive information such as credit card information. SSL encryption is designed to make the information unreadable by anyone but us. This security measure is working when you see the symbol of either an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending on your browser) at the bottom of your browser window.

Links to Non-SNAPP Websites:
Our website may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. If you access those links, you will leave our website. We do not control those sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from our practices. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. The personal data you choose to provide to or that is collected by these third parties is not covered by our Privacy Notice. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting your personal information.

 Computer Tracking and Cookies:
Our Web sites are not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but again, the statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation and access to forms. You can still use our sites if your browser is set to reject cookies. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine and are never tied to anything that could be used to identify you.
